Sparkkit is visited in his dreams for the first time by Cherrythorn.
Rainheart and Featherpaw are attacked by a badger. Featherpaw gets a rescue patrol, but Rainheart is gravely injured.
Brokenice is told by Cherrythorn to kill Rainheart and Graykit
Brokenice poisons Rainheart and Kinkflight drinks from the moss as well and both die.
Brokenice sneaks Graykit out of the Nursery, and bashes her into a tree until she dies of internal bleeding.
Skystream is accused of the murders and is locked away in the Leader's Den.
Cloudyday proves her innocence and turns to the one who accused her, Featherpaw.
A storm.
Featherpaw commits suicide by jumping into the river and drowns before Cloudyday finds her.
Beepelt is made deputy.
Badgerpaw, Featherpaw's sister, hears Featherpaw's whispers in the wind and searches for her.
Badgerpaw meets a strange she-cat who interrogates her about strange things about Featherpaw and leaves with a promise to bring her Featherpaw. (Hunter).

Tallpaw is visited in his dreams by Cherrythorn and is apprenticed under Crowgaze.
Talldusk is made a warrior.
Mentor assignments for Cloudpaw, Ashpaw, and Flintpaw. Cloudpaw was apprenticed to Birchstar, Ashpaw apprenticed to Brokenice, and Flintpaw apprenticed to Dustnose.

Mossypounce of ShadowClan and Firefang of RiverClan fight near the training grounds. Firefang bleeds out due to injuries and Mossypounce dies of blunt trauma to the head.
On the patrol to inform RiverClan, Ratbird attacks the RiverClan warriors. The ShadowClan cats escape back to camp.
Breezeskip has kits between her and an unnamed tom. Three she-cats: Mousekit, Palekit, and Icekit. One tom: Tansykit. The runt, another tom, dies during birth.
Spidertongue returns from herb gathering with a kittypet tom named Alex who decides to join them.
Coppermask is named deputy under Beestar.
Gathering is cut off because of RiverClan threatening war on ShadowClan and StarClan sending moons to cover the cloud for it.
Spidertongue, Coppermask, Burrowbird, and Beestar die. (Quit)
Mousekit, Palekit, and Icekit sneak out of camp and are attacked by Ares. They were saved and brought back to camp by Frostbreeze.
A romance develops between Foxpaw and Honeypaw. While playing in the Elder's Den, the roof falls in on them and Foxpaw is trapped beneath it. Very bad injuries.
The voting commences for a leader begins, but is ended.
Silverkit attempts to care for Foxpaw, with the aid of the deceased Medicine Cat Kinkflight.
Silverpaw is named Medicine Cat of ShadowClan.
Silverpaw receives a prophecy about Red Skies dripping blood, referring to Redpaw.
Blizzardpaw dies on the Thunderpath.
Honeypaw poisons Kestrelfire to punish Breezeskip for having her "love" be alive, since Foxpaw is on death's door. She is caught, and driven out by Yarrowflower.
Kestrelfire and Breezeskip become mates.
Quickstar takes the position as leader.
Honeypaw returns and is ultimately killed by Redpaw before she ascends to The Dark Forest.
The Gathering.
ShadowClan is attacked by RiverClan, and Redpaw, Foxpaw, and Kestrelfire are kidnapped.
A rescue patrol goes out and takes back the kidnapped cats. Flamepaw helps dig out Daisyfall and builds a friendship with Mosspaw.
Clawkit is made an apprentice under Ravenspirit. Following, Redpaw is made a warrior named Redcloud. Foxpaw, still injured, is named Foxwind, and Cypresspaw is named Cypressheart. Patchpaw is apprenticed under Lavenderfur, and Snakepaw is apprenticed under Kestrelfire.
ShadowClan negotiates peace with RiverClan and sacrifices territory.
Flamepaw is visited in her dreams by Frecklenose. Agreed to training, and will be apprenticed along with Honeypaw.
Frecklenose orders Flamepaw to kill Crowkit. Flamepaw refuses and wakes up. Frecklenose kills Oaktail, Foxwind, and Crowkit in retaliation.

RIVERCLAN

Ashwish and Echopool go out hunting. They are attacked by a dog, and manage to escape it through the river.
They return to camp and report it. Ashwish shows Yarrowpaw and Ratbird to the spot where they found the dog, and they find it dead.
Firefang, visited through his dreams, starts on a trek to kill Skystream. He is intercepted on ShadowClan territory, and fights Mossypounce, a well-known monster and battler of ShadowClan. Mossypounce tears out Firefang's throat, and in his death throes, Firefang bashes Mossypounce's skull into a rock.
Both are found dead, and a ShadowClan patrol consisting of Redpelt, Coppermask, and another cat who I forgot the name of reports this to RiverClan.
Ratbird escorts them off the territory, and Coppermask attempts to kill him. Ashwish and Echopool stop them in time, and chase away the ShadowClan warriors.
A clan meeting occurs, and Ashwish is named deputy. Cedarshine addresses their wounds.
Snakestar dies shortly after.
The Gathering occurs. Ashwish lies to the other clans of the place where the bodies were discovered in order to give RiverClan an advantage of clan code and justice.
He demands territory in reparation, and ShadowClan is furious.
Ashwish becomes Ashstar.
StarClan discusses Snakestar's words and the damage Ashstar will bring to the clans.
Daisyfall refuses to test Hollowpaw and Mosspaw as her brother Ashstar ordered them to, and Hollowpaw, frightened, asks for Heronclaw to assess her.
They discover Twoleg scent on the way, intermingling with gunpowder and the scent of the dog from earlier.
Ashstar returns and attempts to make Mosspaw, Reedpaw, Hollowpaw, Troutpaw, and Splashpaw warriors.
He quarrels with Daisyfall and threatens to banish her for not testing Mosspaw, but he lets it off.
He names Hollowpaw Hollowfrost, for her kindness and integrity.
Troutpaw is named Troutwish for her intelligence and kindness.
Fawnsnow apologizes to her for failing to protect her from Ashstar. He starts to get angry, and talks about how they should run away from the "wretched place"
Ashstar reminisces over his own ceremony and wonders if Splashpaw feels the same way
Splashpaw is named Splashbark after his strength and logic.
Ashstar threatens to banish Daisyfall.
Troutwish tells Fawnsnow she trusts him, hinting that she'll run away with him.
Ashstar appoints Echopool, who is now his mate, as deputy.
Reedice takes back his warrior name, and decides to go by Reedpaw.
He decides to leave, and Ashstar becomes cold. He calls him cowardly and hints toward the apprentice being power-hungry and manipulative. Discrediting him.
Troutwish asks Fawnsnow if they should leave.
Fawnsnow says he isn't sure, and refers to her by her apprentice name.
Echopool reveals she's expecting kits.
Ashstar names her deputy anyway and then requests to talk with her.
Crowkit joins Aspenkit and Fierykit who were watching the clan meeting.
Softkit talks with Crowkit, and he flinches away. He asks Fierykit why, and the kit laughs, referring to his cruel nickname.
Crowkit hints that he hates Softkit and blames him for the change in Fierykit. He asks his brother to stop talking with him, and Fierykit refuses.
Fierykit calls him crazy and mocks him. Crowkit runs off back to the Nursery.
Echopool organizes the Gathering Patrol.
Ashstar asks her to organize a battle patrol next, however.
Fawnsnow demands they keep Troutwish off the patrol, and Ashstar refuses. The patrol leaves.
At the battle, Ash kills Reedpaw. They easily take Kestrelfire, Foxpaw, and Redpaw hostage, and Yarrowflower escapes back to camp. They take the cats back to RiverClan camp, along with Snake, whom Fawnsnow had captured escaping to request help from SkyClan, along with ShadowClan's Mousekit.
Ashstar tortures Snake after the kit makes him angry, and Echopool begs him to stop.
The ShadowClan rescue patrol takes back the apprentices and Kestrelfire, while the blizzard starts. Daisyfall is buried in a snow heap by a ShadowClan warrior when they break the upper branches. Mosspaw attacks Flamepaw as she tries to escape, and they share their strories. Flamepaw decides to save Mosspaw's last loved one, and they dig her out together.
They warm her up while Cedarshine treats her.

Aspenkit is made an apprentice under Heronclaw, and while Echopool is expecting, Heronclaw will replace her.
Flamepaw and Mosspaw come back with a plea for peace for Ashstar. Ashstar comes to an agreement with territory and a peace meeting.
They organize the meeting.
Flamepaw is lead in spirit form to the RiverClan camp. Frecklenose hints at "hunting the best kind of prey" and they stop in front of the Nursery. Frecklenose tells her to kill the prey inside. Kits. Flamepaw refuses. Frecklenose says that one is a showing of her loyalty. Flamepaw forces herself to wake up. Frecklenose muses that it was shame, for she'd already killed Crowkit. Frecklenose later goes on to kill all of Flamepaw's loved ones in ShadowClan.
